In memory of Dexter  (05-02-2001~13-04-2008)

Dexter is my second Bearded Collie, he was born on Februari 5, 2001. Dexter and I started with puppy training when he was about 12 weeks, the training proved to be a real succes! I continually had Dexter's attention and he was very eager to learn. Because, while raising Cippy, I had realised obedience was not for me, Dexter and I went to do a "something of everything" training. This training was a lot of fun for us! We learnt a bit of obedience, a bit of agility a few things of doggydance and some other funny tricks. After these lessons we tried agility, but we didn't continue this training because Dexter wasn't taking it seriously. He did love the lessons but it just wasn't a sport for him. After our agility training Dexter and I started to do showing more seriously, this was more of a succes. Dexter likes people a lot, and at shows he gets a lot of attention so he was fine with everything!  We will show Dexter again when he can be entered in veteran class.

Inside the house Dexter is quite calm, but as soon as we start playing games he's very fanatical! Outside Dexter is very active too, he runs along with the other dogs, and with long walks he's always in front pointing the way. The best thing about Dexter is that he's always happy, and he really sticks to his master. Dexter always pays attention and that makes it a lot of fun to do things with him. Dexter and I have been taking obedience classes for quite some time now and we are having a lot of fun during those lessons!
